All Two-day Passes and/or ticket(s) sales are final and there are
no refunds allowed.
A limited number of Two-day Passes are available
Online, this is to ensure that there will be enough for
both Dancers and Drums Groups (Singers).
Please NO Strollers, Skooters or wagons. This is
a large event and walking space is limited!

Re-Entry
is ONLY permitted on Two Day Admission (Two Day
Pass only).

Wristbandsare custom cloth wristbands
placed around the wrist using a plastic Slide Lock®. Once locked into
place it cannot be adjusted or removed without
cutting.
Can I take a shower with
the Wristbands?
Wristbands are made out of a custom cloth so they
CAN get wet. Water will NOT damage your
wristband.
What happens if I remove or
cut off my Wristband? If you have purchased
Two-Day admission(s), Wristband(s) need
to be wore AT ALL TIMES during the 2011 Gathering of
Nations. IF YOU REMOVE YOUR WRISTBAND A NEW
WRISTBAND WILL
NEED TO BE PURCHASED.
How Do I remove the Wristband? After the
event has finished,
cut off your wristband with a pair of scissors.
Be very cautious and make sure you cut only the
wristband.

I am a Dancer and/or Singer/Drum Group. Do I need to
purchase wrist bands? Returning dancers and singers with
a current address on file with the Gathering of Nations
will be sent a special discount card in Mid-January
2011 for use at Dancer/Drum Registration only.
REMINDER: Discount
cards for Dancers and Singers
are ONLY redeemable at the Dancer Registration!
Please bring your discount card to receive a reduced
rate on two day wristbands during Dancer/ Drum
Registration.All Dancers and Singers/Drum
Groups will be accommodated with a two-day wristband at Dancer/Drum Registration. Each dancer and/or singer/drum
group member can also buy
1 additional wristband for another person.
Are there assigned seats? What type of seating is
available? No, the UNM Arena has typical arena
style seating with the majority of seating being benches
and some being individual seats. For attending Drum
groups or Singers,
bring your own chairs or
chairs available for rent.
Are there discounts for Seniors or Children?
No, but only children 1 year old
and under are admitted Free. All wristband/ticket sales are
monitored and regulated by UNM and other government
agencies due to capacity, fire and safety regulations.
The event is monitored by the space utilized and not the age
of attendees!
These are restrictions imposed on the Gathering of
Nations and we ask for your
understanding for our interest in your safety!
Is
the UNM Athletic Field wheelchair accessible? Is
there handicapped parking? Yes. Wheelchair seating is clearly marked and at the
entry level of the UNM Arena.
Handicap parking is available at the event, owever is
LIMITED on a first come first available basis.
A parking attendant
will be on site to assist with special needs parking.
Parking. Is there a charge
around the UNM Arena "The Pit"? General parking is managed
and provided by the UNM Athletics Department and will
charge a fee of $10.00 per car. HOWEVER, with 4 adults
in vehicle parking is FREE. Fee associated with
parking are NOT Gathering of Nations, NOR does the
Gathering of Nations receive any parking fees from this
event. Handicap parking is available at the event,
however is LIMITED on a first come first available basis.
PLEASE ARRIVE EARLY. IF the UNM Arena "The Pit" Handicap
Parking at other lots are Free.
Can I purchase
event ticket/wristband(s)
or M.I.W. tickets anywhere else? No! 2011 Gathering of
Nations admissions are ONLY sold at the door or on our
website if you wish to
purchase advanced tickets, COMING SOON.Miss Indian World (M.I.W.) tickets are also
available at the door at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino -
Albuquerque. MIW tickets can also be purchased on our

How many wristbands or M.I.W. tickets can I buy?
• You may buy AS MANY wristbands and/or tickets as you wish
(subject to availability).
• You also may buy as many Miss Indian World (M.I.W.) tickets as
you wish at the doors (subject to availability).
2 day
bands sold out online but I still want guaranteed
tickets or wrist bands. What are my options? You may optionally
order a Friday and Saturday One-Day admission
online
with same privileges as a two day, advanced guaranteed
purchase with credit card. Cash only at the door! If 2-day bands
ARE available
after all dancers, singers, and drum groups have been
accommodated, 1-Day wristbands for Friday AND
Saturday may be exchanged for a 2 day wristband at our
discretion and subject to availability!

Where do I
get school group tickets? The special K-12 school rate of $7 per person is only
available on Friday, April 29, 2011 at the main ticket
window. Purchase orders issued by the school are
accepted at the main ticket window. SCHOOL TICKETS ARE
NOT AVAILABLE IN ADVANCED!
Where do I get a
Press Pass? Press Passes are limited
and are available at the Press Window.
All Press MUST register and show LEGIMATE Press
Credentials! Press does not have IN and OUT privileges,
you must register daily!
Why is the online price higher than the door price?
The cost of accepting, processing, and fulfilling online
orders is higher to cover heavy administrative costs
and 3rd party fees associated with advance ticket/wrist band(s).
Due to restrictions placed on us, a per ticket service
fee applies for online sales. $1 per ticket and/or
wristband benefits the
G.O.N. Native American Academic Scholarship Foundation
at the University of New Mexico. Ticket prices also
include 50 cents per ticket UNM facility fee, online
credit card processing fees, and 3rd party
administrative fees.
The Gathering of Nations is a self-funded non-profit
organization that receives NO federal funds and little
to NO corporate support. The majority of funding for the
event, our academic scholarships, and our Native
community aid is from annual ticket sales. Surplus funds
from the proceeds of the event, the Gathering of Nations
gives back directly to the Native community. (For

Ticket proceeds benefit: Head Staff and Invited Drums,
Renting the Arena, Dance & Drum Competition, Hiring
hundreds of staff & security, Tents & Multimedia rental,
Utilities & Facility expenses,
G.O.N. Academic Scholarship
