A young Native American Woman will be crowned
Miss Indian World
at the Saturday Evening
Grand Entry on April
28th, 2012
at the University of New Mexico Arena "The Pit", in Albuquerque, New Mexico, USA.
Miss Indian World will represent all
of Native America and Indigenous people as a cultural goodwill ambassador.
The Gathering of Nations
is an 2 day All Day and
Night event held at the UNM Arena "The Pit". The Gathering of Nations is an experience for all people, Indian and non-Indian,
to see the colorful dancing and to hear the songs
to become an enlightened and
feel emotional
happiness!
Over 3,000 indigenous /
Native American / Indian
dancers and singers
representing more than
500 tribes from Canada
and the United States
come to Albuquerque
annually to participate
socially and
competitively
at the Gathering of Nations Pow Wow.
Over $200,000.00 in Prize Money to be awarded to Dancers and Singers!
The Gathering of Nations is a FAIR Competition Powwow for All Dancers
and Singers.
The trading of intercultural traditions and crafts is an experience for all who attend
the
Indian Traders Market.
The
Indian Traders Market offers a very special shopping experience and exhibition of Native American artifacts. Over 800 artists, crafters, and traders will place their wares on display and for sale.

So the Gathering of Nations is making a special summer ticket offer for the 2012 Gathering of Nations Pow Wow. Starting NOW - September 5, 2011, the Gathering of Nations will make available a limited number two day passes at the 2011 price ($30.00 + $8.00 processing fees). Due to the increasing problems with the failing economy, The Gathering of Nations will be forced to increase the general admission cost to the 2012 Gathering of Nations Pow Wow.
