March
13 - Native American
Day: Education About Preservation of Sites
Location:
- ,
UNKNOWN.
Notes:
We are holding our first event to educate the public
on preservation and the importance of Native American prehistoric culture in
Alabama. The city of Jacksonville is excited that we are having this event
on the square, and the event is going to be fun for families and children.
We want to embrace the public to make them understand the reasons we need to
stop the destruction that we see today, and education is just the key to end
that destruction in the future. We need volunteers to make the event a
success. We will need drumming, story telling, dancing, musicians, or any
talent that you can bring and share. We are really excited about this great
opportunity, and we know that we can all make a difference for the future.
