September 10-12 - Chief Wolf Spirit Scholarship Fund Gathering & Powwow Location: Rumney, NEW HAMPSHIRE. Notes: 2nd Annual Native Gathering and Powwow in beautiful Rumney NH. Powwow is held on the banks of the Baker River and is surrounded by picturesque mountains. We are also a learning weekend with many many classes and workshops, Native events and more than could ever be listed. The gathering begins on Friday Sept 10 and goes through Sunday evening Sept 12. September 17-19 - Ft. Hamby PowWow Location: Ft. Hamby State Park, 1534 S. Recreation Rd. - Wilkesboro, NORTH CAROLINA. Notes: Educational event in cooperation with the W. Kerr Scott Dam and Reservoir (336-921-3390). Lots of demonstrations. Traditional pow wow but does have Luck of the Draw dance money for registered dancers. Hours: Park opens at 8am. Pow Wow open Friday and Saturday 9 to 9 and Sunday 9 to 5. Admission fee to the Park is $1.00 per person and Pow Wow admission is $5.00 for Adults and $2.00 for Children.
