GON VENDORS (PAID IN 2020) INFORMATION UPDATE

2020 GON Vendors (Update 1/21/2021)

The 2020 Gathering of Nations PowWow was postponed because of the Covid-19 Pandemic.  Unfortunately, the world is still amid this very deadly and devastating pandemic.  Consequently, the state of New Mexico still has restrictions on in-person events; thus, the Gathering of Nations Powwow will go on as planned but as a Live Virtual live-streamed event April 23 & 24, 2021. 

With that, we will not be having an “in-person” Gathering of Nations Powwow, but a two- day virtual event.  The first day will be a mix of live and prerecorded programming, but day two will be a live livestreamed virtual powwow with dancers from their home locations and invited drum groups only.  Although nothing is a is the same as an in-person powwow, this will be an incredible first-class virtual powwow hosted by our GON Announcers.  The Traders’ Market Vendors will be a big feature for the virtual Powwow. 

    You will be included (at no charge to you) in the Live Stream Virtual 2021 Gathering of Nations Powwow and Traders Market, as well as your Booth for the 2022 Gathering of Nations is still being held for next year’s GON.  Regarding vendor fees; the Gathering of Nations Limited is unable to issue to refunds due to prepaid production costs and expenses that were paid in advance and non-refundable to the Gathering of Nations.

In an effort to support our vendors, every vendor has an opportunity to continue sales through our website during the 2021 virtual Pow wow, as well as your booth is still confirmed for the 2022 Gathering of Nations Pow wow. We humbly ask for your patience and understanding during this time.  We are doing the best we can with the challenging circumstances and limitations that Covid19 Pandemic immediately placed upon the Gathering of Nations organization.  As a 501 C-3 non-profit organization, the Gathering of Nations Limited, has been operating minimally to ensure that we are able to provide a platform for cultural presentations, education and patiently wait for the next in-person Gathering of Nations Powwow in Albuquerque.
